Legal information for NovAd, including our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Deletion Instructions, Refund Policy, and Cookies Policy.
Terms of Service
NovAd is operated by HONGKONG AIGC TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, a Hong Kong company ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms are an agreement between you and that company.
These Terms govern your access to and use of NovAd, available at https://novad.ai. By using NovAd, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
NovAd may update these Terms from time to time by publishing a newer version on this page. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice through the website, email, or account messages. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
1. Services offered
NovAd provides AI-assisted tools that turn product links, app links, uploaded assets, product descriptions, prompts, and other materials you provide into video ad scripts, selling points, avatar-led video ads, and related creative outputs.
The service may include product URL analysis, asset extraction, product profile editing, selling point generation, script generation, template or presenter selection, text-to-speech voice selection, preview flows, rendering, retry flows, video downloads, product libraries, billing pages, and task management pages.
Supported stores, app stores, product pages, templates, presenters, voices, languages, duration options, render quality, generation time, and credit costs may vary by plan, product source, region, available assets, and technical capacity. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service when needed to maintain, secure, or improve NovAd.
2. Registration and accounts
You may need an account to use paid or saved workflows. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and must not use another person's account without permission.
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use NovAd for a company, store, agency, client, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization and manage the product content, advertising claims, and payment method used in the account.
We may suspend or close an account if information is inaccurate, payment is fraudulent or disputed, the account creates security risk, or we reasonably believe the service is being used in violation of these Terms.
3. Your inputs and generated outputs
You are responsible for product URLs, product images, videos, logos, descriptions, prompts, scripts, and other materials you submit ("Inputs"), and for how you use generated videos and other creative results ("Outputs").
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to submit your Inputs and use the Outputs. NovAd does not guarantee that Outputs are unique, error-free, legally cleared, or accepted by any advertising platform.
AI systems may generate inaccurate claims, unsupported comparisons, incorrect pricing references, misleading performance claims, or content that does not match your product. You must review and approve Outputs before publishing, exporting, using them in paid ads, or sharing them with customers.
You are responsible for substantiating advertising claims, obtaining model, voice, music, brand, trademark, product, review, and publicity rights where needed, and complying with rules from platforms such as TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Google, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopee, Shopify, app stores, and any other channel where you use the Outputs.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use NovAd in good faith and only for lawful product, app, game, and marketing creative workflows. You must not interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls of the website or service.
You agree not to use NovAd to create, upload, or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, harassing, or harmful;
- infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- contains malware, attempts to disrupt the service, or abuses our systems;
- misrepresents people, products, endorsements, results, or claims;
- targets minors or vulnerable people in a prohibited or exploitative way;
- creates spam, scams, impersonation, phishing, or deceptive monetization flows;
- uses a person's image, likeness, voice, name, or endorsement without permission;
- contains regulated claims that you cannot lawfully substantiate, including medical, financial, legal, safety, or guaranteed-results claims;
- violates advertising platform policies or applicable law.
We may remove content, block rendering, refuse downloads, throttle usage, or suspend accounts when we believe content or conduct creates legal, safety, security, platform, or operational risk.
5. Credits, payments and subscriptions
Some features require credits or a paid plan. Credit estimates are shown before generation where applicable. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe, and their terms may also apply.
Credits are not cash, stored value, or a bank balance. Credits are a limited license to request eligible generation or rendering actions inside NovAd. Credits may expire, renew, or reset according to the plan, subscription, top-up, or promotion through which they were granted.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. The description, price, billing interval, included credits, credit grant schedule, renewal terms, and cancellation behavior are shown on the pricing or billing pages at the time of purchase.
When you upgrade a subscription, the new plan may take effect immediately and you may be charged at the time of upgrade. When you downgrade or cancel, the change may take effect at the end of the current billing period unless the checkout or billing page states otherwise. Credits already granted for a billing period may remain available only according to the plan rules shown in the product.
Payment providers may charge in currencies, apply taxes, run fraud checks, or retry failed payments according to their own rules and the checkout terms presented to you. NovAd does not store full card numbers, card security codes, or bank account credentials on its own servers.
6. Refunds and failed renders
Failed video renders are refunded in credits automatically when the system marks the render as failed. You are not charged credits for a video that did not successfully render. Retry options may be offered depending on the failure state and available templates.
Credits consumed by successful generations, product analysis, AI-assisted drafting, or successful video renders are generally not refundable because compute and third-party processing costs may be incurred immediately. Additional refund rules are described in the Refund Policy below.
7. Intellectual property
NovAd and its software, interface, templates, models, branding, and service design are owned by NovAd or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, you may use NovAd only for its intended service workflows.
You retain ownership of your Inputs. To operate and improve the service, you grant NovAd a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, copy, transform, display, and store Inputs and Outputs as needed to provide the service, troubleshoot issues, enforce policies, and comply with law.
We do not claim ownership of your Inputs or Outputs as between you and NovAd. However, AI-generated content may not receive the same legal protection in every jurisdiction, and similar outputs may be generated for different users. You are responsible for determining whether an Output can be protected, registered, licensed, advertised, or used for your intended purpose.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, prompts, feature requests, or ideas, you grant NovAd a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.
8. Third-party services and links
NovAd may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment processors, authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, AI model providers, product pages, ad platforms, app stores, and marketplace websites. We are not responsible for third-party terms, content, policies, outages, data practices, or decisions to reject, remove, or limit your ads.
Connected social accounts and publishing
Where available, you can authorize NovAd to publish selected videos to accounts or Pages you manage on supported platforms, including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. These provisions apply only when the relevant integration is available and you choose to connect it. Connecting an account does not by itself instruct us to publish a video. You must select the destination and submit a publishing request.
You must have authority to connect the account or Page and publish the selected content. Review the video, caption, destination, and available publishing settings before submitting. You remain responsible for content rights, advertising claims, required AI or sponsored-content disclosures, and the destination platform's rules. Authorization does not guarantee successful publication, approval for paid advertising, or continued access to a platform's services.
You may remove a connection using the available account controls or revoke access in the destination platform's settings. Once we receive notice of revocation or disconnection, we stop using that connection and cancel publishing jobs that have not yet been sent. A request already sent to a platform may still complete. Disconnecting does not automatically delete your NovAd projects or posts already published on another platform. See our Data Deletion Instructions.
We process Meta platform data only to provide the authorized connection and publishing service on your behalf. You must not use this service or any Meta platform data made available through it in violation of Meta's applicable terms and policies. Our general licenses for Inputs and Outputs do not authorize unrelated use of Meta platform data or override Meta's requirements.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
NovAd is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NovAd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of USD 10 or the amount you paid to NovAd in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for ad account suspensions, rejected ads, lost campaigns, failed product imports, unavailable third-party websites, inaccurate product page data, unsupported URLs, generation latency, downtime, loss of data, or business decisions made based on Outputs.
10. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold NovAd harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your Inputs, Outputs, advertising claims, product listings, use of generated videos, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for NovAd or other users, or used the service in an unlawful or abusive way. You may stop using the service at any time.
Termination does not affect obligations that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Disputes should first be raised with us so both sides can attempt to resolve them informally.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how NovAd collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit the website or use the service.
HONGKONG AIGC TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED operates NovAd and is responsible for the personal data we process to operate the service. When we handle connected business-account data on a customer's behalf, we act on that customer's instructions for the authorized service. Contact us at support@novad.ai about either activity.
References to "personal information" or "personal data" mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual, depending on applicable law.

1. Information we collect
- Account information, such as email address and sign-in provider.
- Product data you submit, including URLs, names, descriptions, images, videos, and logos.
- Generation data, including scripts, selling points, selected presenters, tasks, generated videos, and credit usage.
- Billing data, such as order status, plan, credits, amount, currency, and payment provider identifiers.
- Device and usage data, such as browser, device, IP-derived region, pages visited, actions taken, errors, and analytics events.
- Attribution data, such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers when present.
We may also collect support messages, survey responses, cancellation reasons, selected languages, selected templates, uploaded file names, file metadata, generation status, download activity, and diagnostic logs needed to understand failures or abuse.
Facebook and Instagram connections
If you choose to connect Facebook or Instagram when that feature is available, we process the minimum data needed to identify your selected account or Page, maintain your authorization, and publish the content you request. Depending on the connection method and permissions you approve, the stored connection data is limited to the access credentials and account or Page identifiers needed for publishing, their authorization and expiry information, and the link to your NovAd account. We do not store Meta account names or profile images.
We send the selected video, caption, and publishing settings to the destination platform. Responses from Meta are processed transiently to complete the publishing request and notify you of its result. We do not retain post identifiers, publishing statuses, or API response content in our databases, logs, caches, or analytics tools. We do not use this publishing integration to retrieve unrelated historical posts, follower lists, private messages, or comments. Videos you create in NovAd and assets you upload directly are distinct from data received from Meta, even if you later publish those videos to Meta.
2. How we use information
- To provide account, product import, script generation, video rendering, storage, preview, and download features.
- To process payments, manage credits, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, and billing support.
- To measure product usage, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, secure the service, and improve performance.
- To respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
- To measure marketing attribution and campaign performance where permitted by applicable law.
We may process information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, or rely on consent where required for certain analytics, advertising, or communications activities.
Meta platform data is used only to provide and support the authorized account connection and publishing workflow on your behalf, including displaying the destination, processing publishing requests, reporting results, and securing that integration. It is not used for unrelated marketing, advertising audience creation, or AI model training, and we do not sell or license it. The general product-improvement and attribution purposes in this policy do not expand these uses.
3. Service providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate NovAd, such as hosting providers, storage providers, AI generation providers, authentication providers, payment processors, analytics tools, and customer support tools. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
Because NovAd is an online AI service, data may be processed by providers in infrastructure, storage, rendering, AI generation, product crawling, authentication, email delivery, analytics, payment, anti-fraud, error monitoring, and customer support categories.
Connected-platform data is shared only as needed for the service you request, with providers acting on our instructions and subject to applicable contractual restrictions, or where disclosure is required by law. Meta authorization credentials and account data are not sent to AI generation providers to create your videos. When you request publishing, the destination platform receives your selected content and processes it under its own terms and privacy policy. The audience for a published post depends on the destination and its settings.
4. Analytics and advertising
NovAd may use Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity when configured for a deployment. These tools help us understand user interactions, product flows, errors, and performance. NovAd may also collect UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers to understand acquisition sources.
Analytics events are intended to reflect active user operations, such as login attempts, URL submissions, product edits, upload actions, generation submissions, billing actions, preview clicks, downloads, and retry actions. For asynchronous workflows, failure events may also be recorded to diagnose product issues.
If you arrive from an advertisement or campaign link, we may store UTM parameters, referrer information, and click identifiers such as rdt_cid. These values may be sent with registration or login requests for sign-up attribution and campaign measurement.
5. Payments
Payments are handled by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. NovAd does not store full card numbers, card security codes, or bank account credentials on its own servers.
We may store transaction identifiers, product or plan identifiers, order status, subscription status, renewal status, cancellation state, credit amount, payment amount, currency, tax-related metadata, and payment result callbacks so we can credit your account and provide billing support.
6. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain business records. Generated assets and product records may be kept until you delete them or request deletion, subject to operational backups and legal retention requirements.
Account, billing, security, and fraud-prevention records may be kept longer where required for accounting, tax, chargeback, audit, legal, or dispute purposes. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before they are overwritten or deleted through normal backup cycles.
For Meta platform data, we retain it only while necessary for the authorized service. When we learn that you have revoked access or removed a connection, we stop using the credentials and delete stored credentials and connection data that are no longer needed. We delete relevant Meta platform data as soon as reasonably possible when you or the business customer request deletion, close the relevant NovAd account, when the data is no longer needed, when we discontinue the integration, or when Meta or applicable law requires deletion. Retention beyond these requirements is limited to data we are legally required to keep. General business-record or dispute purposes above do not provide an independent reason to retain Meta platform data.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information. Regardless of your location, you may request deletion of your NovAd account, content, or connected-platform data by contacting support@novad.ai.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some information may be retained if necessary to complete transactions, comply with law, detect security incidents, prevent fraud, protect legal rights, or maintain records required by payment, tax, or accounting rules.
Use the available in-product deletion controls for individual items, or follow the Data Deletion Instructions for a broader request. Meta data is subject to the narrower retention rules above. You do not need to delete your NovAd videos to request deletion of your Meta connection data.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and you use the service at your own risk.
You are responsible for protecting your login method, devices, and account access. If you believe your account or payment information has been compromised, contact us promptly.
9. International transfers
NovAd and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Children's privacy
NovAd is intended for business and professional creative workflows. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, law, or data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
Data Deletion Instructions
All NovAd users can request deletion of their data. These instructions are provided by HONGKONG AIGC TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, the operator of NovAd, and cover both content stored in NovAd and data associated with connected social accounts, including Facebook and Instagram where available.
1. Delete individual content in NovAd
Sign in and use the available Delete or Remove control for the video, product, asset, or other item you want to delete. Read the confirmation to check its scope. In My products, deleting a product removes that product from your list but keeps generated ads. Delete any unwanted ads separately using the available controls, or request their deletion by email as described below. If a control is unavailable or you cannot sign in, you can still request deletion by email.
2. Disconnect a social account
Open Social accounts and use the removal control for the relevant connection where available. You can also revoke NovAd's access in the connected platform's app or business integration settings. Once we receive notice, we stop using that connection, cancel publishing jobs not yet sent, and remove credentials and connection data that are no longer needed. A publishing request already sent to the platform may still complete.
Disconnecting a social account does not delete your NovAd account, uploaded assets, scripts, or generated videos. It also does not automatically delete posts already published to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or another platform. Use that platform's own controls to manage or delete those posts.
3. Request Meta data deletion or full account deletion
Email support@novad.ai with the subject "NovAd data deletion request", preferably from the email address associated with your NovAd account. Include:
- Your NovAd account email so we can locate the account.
- The scope: particular content, a Facebook or Instagram connection and its data, or your entire NovAd account and associated content.
- For a connection request, the platform and account or Page identifier if available; for content, the relevant project or item reference if available.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, or payment card details. We may ask for the minimum additional information needed to verify your authority and identify the data. If you no longer have access to your account email, explain this so we can arrange an alternative check.
A Meta data deletion request covers the relevant stored access credentials, account or Page identifiers, authorization information, and account bindings. We do not store Meta account names, profile images, post identifiers, publishing statuses, or API response content; responses are used transiently to notify you of publishing results. Deleting Meta connection data does not require deletion of videos or scripts created independently in NovAd unless you also request that. A full NovAd account deletion request additionally covers your account and associated stored content, subject to the limited retention described below.
4. Processing and confirmation
We act on verified requests promptly and delete the relevant data as soon as reasonably possible, within applicable legal deadlines. We will reply by email to confirm completion or explain any verification needs, delay, or lawful retention. You can reply to the same email conversation to ask about progress. If we receive a data deletion request through Meta, we process the relevant Meta data under the same deletion rules.
Some non-Meta records may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, or payment-dispute obligations. Meta platform data is retained after a deletion requirement only where required by law. Any such retention is limited to the necessary data and period; we will explain applicable exceptions in our response. Residual backup copies are removed through backup deletion cycles and are not used to resume publishing or other ordinary processing. We also require relevant service providers to carry out applicable deletion requests.
Deleting NovAd data does not remove copies you downloaded or content already held by a destination social platform. For details about our processing, see the Privacy Policy.
Refund Policy
NovAd uses credits for AI generation and rendering. Because AI generation can incur immediate compute and third-party costs, refund eligibility depends on the status and use of the purchased credits or subscription.
This policy applies to purchases made directly through NovAd. If a payment provider, app marketplace, agency reseller, or promotional partner is involved, additional terms from that provider may apply.
Failed renders
Failed video renders are refunded in credits automatically when the system marks the render as failed. You only pay credits for successful videos.
A render is considered successful when NovAd produces a playable or downloadable output according to the task result. A successful render is not treated as failed merely because you dislike the creative direction, script, presenter, pacing, claim, voice, or platform performance. You should review and edit scripts and settings before submitting a batch.
One-time credit purchases
Unused one-time credit packs may be refundable within 14 days of purchase on request. Credits that have already been used for generation or rendering are not refundable.
Promotional, trial, bonus, manually granted, or free credits have no cash value and are not refundable. They may expire, be revoked, or be adjusted if abuse, payment risk, duplicate account creation, or a technical error is detected.
Subscriptions
Subscription payments cover access and credits for the applicable billing period. Subscription periods that have already started are not refunded except where required by law. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals.
If you upgrade a subscription, the upgrade may take effect immediately and may start a new billing cycle. If you downgrade, the change may be scheduled for the end of the current billing period. Credits already issued under a plan are handled according to the plan rules shown in the billing flow.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you open a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend the related account, pause generation, or withhold additional credits while the dispute is reviewed. Reversed or fraudulent payments may result in removal of credits or access associated with the purchase.
How to request a refund
Contact support@novad.ai with your account email, order reference if available, and a short explanation. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when possible.
We may ask for reasonable information to identify the transaction and evaluate the request, such as account email, order ID, payment date, plan or credit pack, failed task ID, screenshots, or error details.
